Our nation suffered a tragic loss on Tuesday, September 11, 2001.  MD TF 1 was deployed to the Pentagon so Callie & I were at the Pentagon to bear witness to this horrible act.   PLEASE continue to remember all those that were lost and their families, as well as our Military personnel who  fight for our freedom, in your thoughts and prayers. God Bless America!!!!! WE WILL NEVER FORGET!

To say you were a "once in a lifetime dog" just doesn't seem enough.  You were my best friend, my companion, my partner but most of all, you my dear Boo Girl - you were My Heart....  Never was there anything that I asked of you, that you didn't do to the very best of your ability even in the end, I had asked you to tell me when it was your time, and you said it to me with those beautiful eyes of yours.  Callie, you touched so many people's lives with your beautiful face, your courage, your skill but most of all with your friendly wonderful being.  Being a Search and Rescue Dog was your life and I was honored to be your partner.  It was so wonderful to see you work and how much you loved doing it.  And even days ago when I hid for you and said "go find"  it was so wonderful to see that look in your eyes j- pure happiness.

There were so many rough times that you got me through.  We shared so many wonderful times and life experiences together.  How will I ever repay you for what you have given to my life.   You are what started me down the path of what I am today and I am so very thankful to have shared your life.  My heart is broken but I know I have so very many wonderful memories that will sustain me until I meet you again.  Rest well my dear Callie Boo Girl, I hope you will be running with all the wonderful kids that have gone before you, Ranger, T-bone, Blue, Jolie, Jazz, Zoey, Jasmine, Annie, Haley, Bobby, Tucker and Allie and many more - I can picture all of you running across a big open field, and I am sure that Dickie is right there with all of you hopefully throwing a frisbee.

You will always be my number one girl, my everything. I will always love you as long as my heart beats, always and forever.   You will never be forgotten!

Callie
